Relays and switches
Relays and switches, commonly used in a broad spectrum of applications in the automotive and robot industry, require materials and properties comparable to those in connector applications. In fact, requirements like good electrical conductivity, combined with high mechanical strength to meet the required spring characteristics, relaxation resistance at elevated temperatures and fatigue resistance are decisive for this area of application. Apart from conventional alloys (brass, bronze, certain stainless steels etc.), Lamineries MATTHEY supplies premium products such as rolled precision strips in copper-beryllium alloy.
